The role

As a combined Senior iOS Developer and Scrum master in our Native team we are looking for a person who loves designing and implementing stable and robust software that aligns perfectly with our product strategy.

At the same time, you have a mindset where structure, collaboration and delegation gives added energy and fun. Your contributions enable both the team and the rest of the organisation to work in the same direction and to cater for cross-team dependencies.

As the Scrum Master for our Native team, your responsibility will be to utilise the capacity of the team in the best possible way to meet decided priorities.

The Nomono team

You will join a growing team of experienced software developers, designers, hardware engineers and audio researchers. We promote cross-functionality with overlapping roles and responsibilities. As a member of the team you will contribute actively to software quality through thorough testing and code reviews.

You will share knowledge of tools and technologies and recommend best practices. Instead of struggling with technical debt and outdated legacy code, your work should actively shape our products now and in the future. At Nomono, we put customer experience first!

You will be responsible for:

• Architecture and building of new features, tools and workflow for our iOS products. You will also implement features, frameworks, and fixes in an iOS development environment.
• Shape the direction of the product through the iOS platform
• The Scrum Master role: Planning, status and inter-team communication.
• Together with Design, Marketing, and the rest of the Engineering team, you will lay the groundwork and pave the path for our mobile experiences. This means excellent development practices and careful code architecture in an organisation built around rapid releases.
• Note: This is a team lead role, but without staff responsibility.

Qualifications:

• You have relevant higher education and several years of hands-on experience with iOS development – the full product lifecycle from design to release.
• We are using Swift, SwiftUI and Swift Package Manager, so you should have a strong understanding of these technologies.
• It's clearly a bonus if you have shipped, maintained, and iterated on iOS applications that are implemented and public today.
• Practical knowledge with building Bluetooth-enabled mobile apps is also a bonus.
• We expect you to have a focus on mobile UI design principles and making apps work intuitively.
• You have Scrum Master or team lead experience
• You should be a self-driven developer who gets energised by a demanding and fast-moving environment.
• We hope you are positive, solutions-oriented and see opportunities, and you show initiative and get things done!
• Experience with native app development for Android (Kotlin) is a plus.

Location

Nomono is located in Trondheim and Oslo. The product teams are located in Trondheim. We aim to be a flexible and hybrid company in terms of locations, but we still see the value in having this key position located in Trondheim.
