Product management as a discipline

Product management is the business process of planning, developing, launching, and managing a product or service. It includes the entire lifecycle of a product, from ideation to development to go to market.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, with experience from software product development processes to take on the responsibility for our product, Nomono Cloud.

The product, Nomono Cloud

In Nomono Cloud you can enhance, organise and collaborate on your recordings. If using Nomono Sound Capsule, your recordings will upload here automatically, if using other recording tools you can upload it here yourself.

In Nomono Cloud we provide AI-powered audio enhancement and team collaboration specifically made for podcasters.

An inclusive product visionary

In Nomono we want our product managers to be visionaries who guide new product ideas from an initial concept to a full-blown product launch. While along the way, collaborating closely with our world class engineers, QA-testers, designers, business developers and other product managers to maximise our product’s impact on the world.

Team

You will on one hand be working closely with our Chief Product Officer (CPO), and be a part of our product management team together with CPO, other product managers and head of design.

In addition, you will be heading your own cross-functional product team, including full ownership of the budget for your own product initiative.

As Senior Product Manager Cloud you are responsible for:

• Driving a product vision and direction for our Cloud solution software development, exhibiting strong strategy, execution, design, and analytics skills.
• Building relationships across our teams and organisations to understand and represent their needs and pain-points into product designs.
• Developing an ambitious yet practical product roadmap. Leverage your expertise to identify the right use-cases.
• Own and create comprehensive product specifications and artifacts such as product requirements documents
• Take on the Product Owner role, ensuring a prioritised backlog and tight interaction with the product team in the agile/ scrum-based product development process.
• Collaborate on all business readiness activities including product testing, end user education, rollout, iteration and support.
• Leverage user insight, market and competitive research in the area of audio- recording, optimisation and editing. Track industry development to deepen the collective understanding and identify opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications:

• Experience from previous Product Manager roles.
• Experience with user research.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• User centric approach and e.g experience with design thinking methodologies
• Expected to be proactive, and provide a predictable structure into your priority- and alignment processes.
• Expected to be a team player, leveraging your product manager peers, ensuring activities, processes and priorities are aligned with one holistic company strategy, dependencies of the rest of the organisation and other product teams.
• We expect you to be insight- and data driven in your approach, and cautious about the pitfalls of subjective perspectives.

Location

Nomono is located in Trondheim and Oslo. The product teams are located in Trondheim. We aim to be a flexible and hybrid company in terms of locations, but we still see the value in having this key position located in Trondheim.
